What is Detective.Games?
An interactive crime adventure via app, where you become detectives and solve a real murder case. You question suspects, evaluate evidence and bring the perpetrator to justice. Played outdoors at real city locations or online from anywhere, for 1 to approx. 100 people. Each case takes place in a different location and setting.
What cases are available?
The cases cover various genres: from international espionage to Sherlock Holmes adventures to cybercrime and hacker thrillers. New cases and languages are added continuously. Best to subscribe to the newsletter so you don't miss anything.
How long does a game take?
That depends on the chosen case and the pace of your group. Most teams are out and about for between 1 and 2 hours. You set the pace yourself and can pause at any time.
Do I need an app or equipment?
All you need is your own smartphone or tablet per team. Mobile internet and a GPS signal significantly increase the fun factor and unlock additional features. Playing offline is technically possible but not recommended.
Can we book it as a corporate event?
Yes, absolutely. On request and for an additional fee, custom stories with individual characters and tailored content can also be developed for your company. Via "Request Team Event" we'll get back to you with all the details for your booking.
Do I need to be at the location to play?
No. Every case can be played on-site or remotely from anywhere in the world. That said, the game is built for the streets. Hunting for evidence at real locations with friends is where the magic happens. If you start on-site and want to switch, or the other way around, you can toggle between both modes anytime inside the game under the team tab.
How long is my code valid?
Purchased codes never expire. Use them whenever you're ready. Free promo codes are campaign-based and can be revoked once a campaign ends, so don't sit on them too long.
